PILE CAP ANALYSIS
THIS PROGRAM USES SI units. For English units, use
pilec.htm.
Individual pile loads in a pile group can be determined by using
sipilecp.exe in
conjunction with brun45.exe.
Six sample files are given in
simpilcp.doc.
They are the same files as the six samples using English units, but they
are in SI units. For explanations see the file which uses English units,
engpilcp.doc.
Individual pile properties can be input by using a stiffness matrix
or from a pile-soil constant, pile properties and two stiffness values: axial
force / axial deflection and torsional force / twist.
Where a stiffness matrix is used, all piles must have the same properties.
There are 6 methods of analysis.
Passive pressure against the cap can be used.
